One of the most popular destinations in Vietnam, Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage site and lies 105 miles east of Hanoi in the north of Vietnam. This lovely bay contains a multitude of islands including Ban Sen, a thickly forested, almost uninhabited island, and Cat Ba, home to the endangered Cat Ba langur, a magnificent golden-colored, black-faced species of monkey, and a favorite destination for tourists. . Halong Bay also surrounds the island of Quan L?n, with beautiful beaches, and Van Don, a more developed island, with wide sandy beaches, connected to Vietnam’s mainland.
Dau Be Island is a popular swimming and diving spot, with beautiful coral formations, deep grottoes. Three lovely inland lakes, including beautiful Ba Hâm Lake become accessible at low tide. Dau Go Island is known for its large and colorful cave with towering stalactites and stalagmites, some more than 60 feet high. Hung Sung Sot Cave, Virgin Cave with its beautiful shrine and Pelican Cave on Bo Hon Island are also interesting to visit and photograph.
