Dear Friends, At the kind invitation of Francesco Galli Zugaro, we had a lovely experience. Francesco is a visionary in the same manner as a young Lars Eric Lindblad was. From scratch he has built the all suite luxury expedition vessel M.V. Aqua. Based in Iquitos on the mighty Amazon River, it will set a new level of luxury not experienced before in this part of the world. Our suite was impeccably designed and outfitted. No deluxe amenity has been overlooked. This was complimented by gourmet cuisine and fine wines created by Miguel Schiaffino, from Lima's famed Malabar restaurant. Iquitos is still very exotic and the superb staff and excellent guides entertained us with lectures and side expeditions to remote villages and reserves not normally accessible.
