PromPeru Takes Peruvians from Loreto Peru to Loreto… Italy!
A little Monday morning entertainment….PromPeru has released this fantastic video (with English subtitles available) of what happened when Peruvians from the Loreto region (home of Aqua Expeditions) visited their namesake, the small town of Loreto, Italy.
Locals observe in awe when an unusual pop-up appears in the town piazza and Amazonian canoes take to the streets, but they soon warm to the new visitors as they are introduced to the Peruvian way of life. Italian locals enjoy traditional music, dancing, Pisco Sours and expert Peruvian cooking from our very own Pedro Miguel Schiaffino who creates a selection of dishes including delicious grilled Paiche.
Watch this amusing video to see how the two Loretos are brought together as part of a national campaign by Peru to raise awareness about the country’s colourful culture and some of the wonderful experiences awaiting visitors.
