Following the success of the Aqua Amazon, renowned Peruvian architect Jordi Puig was asked to continue his work for Aqua Expeditions with the design of a second ship, the Aria Amazon. His design of the 45 meter (147 feet) long, matte black hulled ship builds upon the unique structural and design aspects that established the Aqua Amazon’s reputation for style and comfort while adding a unique identity to the 16-cabin Aria Amazon. The Aria’s floor to ceiling panoramic windows and Observation Deck are enhanced with an outdoor Jacuzzi, ideally poised for watching pink river dolphins while sipping pisco punch. Workout facilities are also available onboard. The Aria is spacious yet intimate enough to feel entirely exclusive and incorporates generous lounging and dining areas. Aqua Expedition’s highly experienced crew and the rigorous cruise ship standards ensure smooth travel and safety on the water on the Aria Amazon.
Puig again brought a sophisticated boutique hotel aesthetic to the interiors of all 16 Design Suites across the first and second deck of the Aria Amazon. His woven tapestry of indigenous Peruvian fibers frames the sleeping quarters within these 23 meter (250 square feet) private enclaves. Soft lighting, natural wood flooring and neutral hues create a calming and indulgently comfortable backdrop from which to focus on the captivating landscape through each suite’s floor to ceiling windows.
