GETTING THERE

How to Get There

To join us for Aqua Mare’s cruise itineraries, guests must arrive at Seymour Airport (GPS) on Baltra Island. We recommend a dedicated flight by Equair Airlines, where we have reserved premium seats that come with extra luggage allowance and VIP service. The flight flies every Friday from Quito, Ecuador via the city of Guayaquil. Bookings can be made with our reservations team.

How to Get to Baltra Island

Destination Airport: Seymour Airport (GPS)

The Galapagos Islands can only be reached via a domestic flight within Ecuador. Equair Airlines operates flights from Quito or Guyaquil which arrive on the day of Aqua Mare’s departure.

The flight has a stop-over at Jose Joaquin Olmedo Airport (GYE) in Guayaquil, following which it arrives at Seymour Airport (GPS) on Baltra Island at 09:55 AM. Guests may also choose to board the flight at Guayaquil.

Those arriving at Quito or Guayaquil via an international flight will need to stay there overnight before departing for Galapagos the following morning.
