12-nights itinerary: Indonesia Limited Cross-Destination Voyages
This first maiden leg of Aqua Blu’s inaugural cruise explores the rugged coastal beauty of the Nusa Tenggara region and the protected natural treasures
This epic sea voyage whisks you away from the popular resort destination of Bali into the stunning wilderness of East Indonesia, where towering volcanoes, myriad underwater habitats and mythical wildlife species await with world-class diving, snorkelling and hiking opportunities. Discover a spectacular waterfall at Moyo Island Nature Reserve, go in search of whale sharks in Saleh Bay, and hike up the hills of the UNESCO-inscribed Komodo National Parks past wild Komodo Dragons, the largest lizards on Earth. The multi-colored caldera lakes of Kelimutu volcano are the only ones of its kind in the world.

Arrive at Bali to a warm welcome. Board Aqua Blu and begin cruising to Moyo Island as the sun sets.
Arrive at Moyo, a remote hilly island supporting a handful of fishing villages. Discover wildlife en route to the spectacular waterfall to the center of the island and snorkel at the shallow Angel Reefs for an unforgettable experience.
Arrive at Saleh Bay. Depending on the time of the month, you’ll have the chance to encounter friendly whale sharks up close while guided by Conservation International Rangers. In the evening, witness a dramatic flight of the fruit bats at Sattonda
Arrive at the dramatic 1,900-metre tall Sangeang Api, a twinpeaked active volcano on an island inhabited by locals living a subsistence lifestyle. Snorkel off the island’s unique black sand beaches or dive at ‘Hot Rocks, where volcanic gases are ejected from the black sand bed.
Sail to Gili Banta in the afternoon, trek through the rough trails to reach the high ridges or snorkel in the clear waters. End the day on a pristine beach where a cocktail party awaits.
At daybreak, depart eastwards towards the incredibly scenic Batu Moncho, a relatively unexplored habitat for wild Komodo Dragons and bird species. Look out for dolphins and manta rays while snorkeling and diving along the north shoreline of Batu Moncho.
Dive around Nyata island in search of hammerhead sharks and rays. Romang and Nyata are not part of a National Park, therefore it is possible to fish here, both on the water and under the surface. Cruise south towards Telang for snorkeling and kayaking adventures. Spot rare silver-tip sharks here.
Savour sunrise breakfast onboard as we cruise towards Horseshoe Bay, where Komodo Dragons are known to swim near the beach! Snorkeling and diving is a must on Nusa Kode, featuring world-class sites from fantastic shallow critter and coral sites to open sea pinnacles.
Depart early in the morning to Padar Island, arguably the most scenic island in Komodo National Park. This is a great place for snorkeling, diving, trekking, watersports and, of course, photography.
Wake up to the sight of fisherman casting their nets at a traditional fishing village. Depart Padar Island for a leisurely cruise north-west towards the Gili Lawah islands. Snorkeling is a highly recommend to view colorful reefs around Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut.
The Seventeen Islands comprises of several small, low-lying sandy islets. Savour coconuts freshly plucked from the trees by villagers of Riung, a small town on the Flores mainland. Spend a leisurely evening party on amazing deserted beaches of fine white sand.
Colored lakes within the three calderas of a long dormant volcano are on impressive display at the Kelimutu volcano, an otherworldly series of geologic cauldrons. The twisting road to the summit winds through incredible forests and criss-crosses mountain streams.
Arrive atthe island group of Pomana, which includes Pomana Besar, Pomana Kecil and the atoll of Gosong Bone that sits at the top of Maumere Bay. Snorkelling and diving are great all around this island and atoll group, especially around the north-east part of Pomana Kecil and Gosong Bone atoll. Spend the final night on the eastern side of the island’s fabulous white sand and blue water with a memorable farewell party.
